Web design is primarily a design to create a website. The website is collection of e-documents and multiple applications which, when shaped up according to the design, stay at a web server to provide contents and interface to the end user, when requested through the internet browser. In simple words web design is a blueprint to create a web page or a web site for that matter. A web design when being designed by a designer is called web designing. Web site or the web page mainly depends upon the web design. The design is required to be such which can keep the main page less heavy so that it can load at the low speed also and the links and the sub pages be designed in a way that the end user does not have to wait for much time to see the page. A web design is required to cater for the aim of the web site on which the website is planned. The aim here means the target for which the design is being made, who all do you want to attract through this website, what all provisions you going to promise to your target viewers and what do you want your target viewers to do when they enter your site.
The main aim of web design is to formulate a web site. The website is to say a collection of electronic applications and documents that are located on the web servers in order to be available to the end user when heshe asks for it through the web browser or any other web enabled software. It is a kind of graphic designing which primarily is created to enhance and give style to the objects of the information available at Internet using high end user features and artistic facade.
