Web design concept based on the nature and rapid growth of the Internet is nothing to brag about anything else. This is due to the large number of websites published on the Internet every day, to show the presence of a domain and the World Wide Web. You may ask why this is so, so, the simple answer is the speed at which technology is evolving.
An example is illustrated with the popular Microsoft FrontPage and Macromedia Flash. These are two different web design software with the same basic function (to create an interactive website). However, a person who has used both programs shows that Microsoft FrontPage, which has been going on for quite a long period of time, is basically concerned with HTML codes. No programming language or knowledge is treated, so I choose to end their use in web design category. Almost everyone who has a computer with the Windows operating system next to MS FrontPage installed in it, knows how to design a simple website. This is because it is a format that requires no programming knowledge, but only requires the user to enter text, copy and paste even drag and drop an image on the site potential. However, Macromedia Flash, which was released years after the first version which is Microsoft’s FrontPage, shows that progress on the effects, animations and even graphics. This powerful also shows an advance in web design technology. You’re probably thinking, how wrong. Well, I like to know the programming and design are totally two different things. While the design has discussed the use of Microsoft FrontPage as an example let’s look at the schedule on the web.
Now, unlike Microsoft FrontPage, Macromedia Flash web site creates a more lively and full of effects that Microsoft FrontPage. However, it requires programming skills to maximize their use and put to work. Just as a person with basic knowledge of Microsoft FrontPage call himself a web designer, and the other with Macromedia Flash calls himself a web programmer to differentiate what is called ‘newbies’ who may have learned web design through the wide believes “user friendly” Microsoft FrontPage. But either way a website is created, it is important to note that its main function is to provide information about services, products and other officials. Therefore, if a web programmer or web designer, and if the same work given to them is to create a website, symbolizing unity in the sense that, so the site can be create, or as a more interactive one’s work can be compared to the other, still convey the same information to visitors to the website, it takes both the creative aspect of ‘web design’, which almost all High school kids can do.
However, as one who is a programmer, I do not see much difference between the designer and web developer, unless a much more advanced web programming that we (web programmers) now, was created. But until then call that web developers continue to push their differences with the web designer, regardless of their similarities.
